Itinerary
Day1: Tangier - Asilah - Chefchaouen
Meet & greet upon arrival in the Tangier Ville, Tangier Med Port or pick up from your accommodation in Tangier. We will head alongside the Atlantic Coast to the tranquil city of Asilah, which was founded by the Portuguese with its ramparts by the Atlantic turning into a real fortress. Meander around the intricate but beautifull-painted streets with its paintaings or what is called (Murailles).
Asilah is known for the annual arts festival when painters and artists from all over the world come to the city to leave their artistic stamp on the walls of the Medina. Later, we will continue on the track to Chefchaouen with a nice drive through the spectacular Rif Mountains.

Day2: Full-Day Exploring Chefchaouen
After having breakfast in your Riad/hotel in Chefchaouen, you will spend the day exploring what this beautiful and charming city has to offer. The blue color with which it is painted alongside the ambiance and architecture keep attracting visitors every year. You may want to start your walking tour by the strategic Utta El-Hammam Square, which is located in the heart of the Medina.
Visit the Kasbah (fotress) with its unique architecture and rich history that goes back to the 15th century when Moulay Ali Ibn Rashid decided to built a fortress by the Rif Mountains to fight against the Spanish and Portuguese invaders.
Get lost in the blue-painted streets of the Medina that have been listed as the most beautiful streets in the world. Meet the locals while navigating the Medina, and appreciate their warmth and hospitality. Arrive in the Ras El-Ma Spring that offers panoramic views along with the cultural encounters it offers with women washing clothes and carpets by the stream.
You may want to extend your experience with a soft hike up to the nearby hill from where you can a complete view of the Medina. Return back to the Utta el-Hammam Square where you may want to have a nice lunch while watching the passers-by. In the evening, you have the option to have another walk to further explore the local shops and learn more about the culture.

Day3: Chefchaouen - Tetouan - Tangier
Today, we will drive back to Tangier through the Rif Mountains and Tetouan. We will spend sometime to explore the UNESCO-listed Medina, and the vibrant markets. Tetouan is often called (the White Dove) due to the white color by which it is painted. The city prospered when the wealthy Jews and Muslims were expelled from the Andalusia, and settled in the city.
Later, we will drive to Tangier, which we will arrive in the afternoon. We will include the tour around Tangier including a drive through the Ville Nouvelle, which was built by the 8 powerful countries in the world. Have a short break in the pormontory Cap Spartel where it is believed the Mediterranean and the Atlantic both converge. The views from here are just stunning.
Drive by the Atlantic Coastline where you may want to include a camel ride experience by the sandy beach, then continue on the track to the Pre-historic Hercules Caves that are shrouded in mystery.

Day4: Explore Tangier
After having breakfast in your hotel/Riad in Tangier, you wil have a guided walking tour of the mysterious Kasbah & Medina (old town) of Tangier. Visit the Kasbah Musuem, which was previously resided by the Sultan before turning it into a Museum exhibiting a wide selection of Moroccan crafts that were found in the nearby sites of Lixus, Volubilis, and other parts of Morocco.
Meander around the vibrant streets of the Medina with its Souks offering a unique cultural experience. Visit the local bakery, pass-by the mosques, taste the local food, and much more. You may want to visit the American Legation, which is the first-build diplomatic administration outside the USA after its independence as Morocco was the first country that recognised the indepence of the USA. The letters between the late Sultan Moulay Suleiman and George Washington are still displayed in the building.
