Day1: Marrakech - Atlas Mountains - Ouarzazate
Pick up from your accommodation in Marrakech or meet upon arrival in the airport, head to Ouarzazate (Hollywood of Africa) with a nice drive through the spectacular High-Atlas Mountains. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the snow-capped mountains in most of the winter. After crossing the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260 m), we will reach Ouarzazate where we will spend our first night.

Day2: Ouarzazate - Draa Valley - Alnif
After having breakfast in your hotel-Riad in Ouarzazate, we will drive in the heart of the first portion of the desert by crossing the spectacular Anti-Atlas Mountains. You will surprisingly enjoy the Moroccan geological formations of these mountains with its strange shapes here we will stop in the way to see Stromatolites that layered, rock-like structures built by colonies of microorganisms, primarily cyanobacteria, which trap and bind sediment over time, forming Earth’s earliest fossils, appearing over 3.5 billion years ago after that we continue to Alnif via Agdz and Draa Valley lunch will be in Alnif the Trilobites capital here we will drive through the off roading to get to the quarry of Trilobites where we will dig and learn about the such species in meticulous details along with the findings that were recorded in the region Overnight in Alnif.

Day3: Alnif - Rissani - Merzouga
Today, you will resume our 8 days Morocco fossil hunting Geological tour further south to Merzouga desert passing by a local quarry in Rissani that consists of Goniatites, which go back to the Middle Devonian period. Our day of exploration will follow up with a visit to a local museum that exhibits a great selection of fossils, minerals and meteorites.
Arrive in the late afternoon to the majestic Merzouga desert and overnight in a nice Riad by the feet of the sand dunes.

Early wake up early morning to watch the best sunrise over the dunes where you can enjoy one of the most impressive views and After having breakfast and taking a shower, we will start our new journey to the Dades Valley in the way we will stop to see how see Ammonites; Crinoids; Orthoceras in the rocks its hard to work you will just see and take pictures then we head to Dades Valley via the impressive stunning Todra (Gorges) which is a high-cliff that keeps attracting mountain climbers and nature lovers Overnight in Dades or Rose Valley.

Day6: Dades Valley - Ouarzazate - Ait Benhaddou - Marrakech
After having breakfast in your hotel-Riad Dades Valley, we will head to Marrakech passing by the lush valley of roses and The road of thousand Kasbah ,where we may want to include a short break as a way to learn about the different products such as rose-water, perfumes, soaps, lotions, and much more and in the way you may want to visit Kasbah Amridil is a historic fortified residence or kasbah (tighremt in Amazigh) in the oasis of Skoura, in Morocco. It is considered among the most impressive kasbahs of its kind in Morocco and was formerly featured on the Moroccan 50 dirham then drive to Marrakech crossing the Atlas Mountains before getting to Marrakech in the evening Overnight in Riad in the Medina.

Day7: Guided Tour of Marrakech
Today, you will spend the half day exploring the best attractions of Marrakech with a local tour guide who knows the city like the back of his/her hand. you will start the walking tour of Marrakech from the famous Koutoubia Mosque,Visit the 15th century Saadian tombs, the Bahia Palace, the Souks that are organized into sections before ending your exploration of Marrakech by the Jemaa el-Fna Square (the focal point of Marrakech). The Square turns in the evening into an arena filled with musicians, magicians, storytellers and after lunch you will have a free afternoon to discover this beautiful red city of Marrakech Overnight in the same Riad -hotel.
